The Coop came in clutch when we were looking for a chill place to drink and relax. The service was quick and attentive. Highly recommend the wings (half and half) and the spicy rice cakes with cheese! Really enjoyed the Ujjujju Melody. The place got crowded quick so beware if coming during peak dining hours.

I treated my mom and cousin for lunch here yesterday. We were the first ones there at around noon and seated promptly. I hadn't been here in so long and definitely missed the food so much. We ordered large soy garlic wings (20), japchae, parmesan truffle fries and tonkatsu. Everything was super fresh and delicious. We ordered the tonkatsu as suggested by the waiter and we all loved it! My cousin had never been here and she loved everything as well. It was so nice and quiet since they had just opened for the day. Pricing was very reasonable. With 2 sodas and 2 beers, all the food came out to $103, which is pretty good in my opinion. Looking forward to coming back and trying other drinks and Korean foods they have!

Went on a Saturday night and surprised it wasn't as busy as we'd thought and were seated immediately. We ordered the wings, bulgogi fries, and spicy rice cakes (basic Korean stuff but that's what we were in the mood for). Wings were pretty good, crunchy and juicy although the soy garlic ones needed a bit more flavor but still good. This might be weird to say but one of the stars of the night was the pina colada. Perfect ratio of pineapple to coconut, 100/10. Vibes were nice and would recommend with bigger group.

Got the bossam, kimchi pancake, and seafood udon. such a satisfying and hearty meal!! when there is dairy involved they make it realllll creamy so be prepared. the udon and pancake were loaded with fat, delicious but filling and you'll have lots of leftovers!! The bossam meat was amazing!! The service and genuine and friendly. Pretty chill on a Sunday dinner. Google maps brings you to the takeout pickup spot, but you have to go around and up the stairs/elevator to floor 1 (from ground floor) to reach the actual restaurant. Overall this place is fairly priced and DELICIOUS!!!

This is a great place if you're craving delicious Korean food in Flushing. I came recently and there is no air conditioner in this facility so it was a little humid inside. They also didn't allow outside drinks so we were told to put our drinks away. The food was flavorful! I ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice w/Egg, Pork Belly, and this Seafood Creamy Udon dish. The pork belly was so tasty and paired well with the kimchi!

I revisited The Coop after a while, and this time I came with a friend after spending practically the whole day at the salon. We decided to treat ourselves to some mocktails, budae jigae, and a small order of chicken for dinner - which, by the way, is not that small. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of it! * Strawberry Non-Alcoholic Mojito ($11) You can definitely taste the strawberry in this one, which is appreciated! Our server recommended any flavor except the original, and they had mango and grapefruit options as well. The drink was carbonated and decent, but nothing mind-blowing - just okay. I'd rate this a solid 3/5. * Cinderella ($7) This one was suuuuper sweet! Pineapple vibes all the way, and I loved it. Way better than the mojito, in my opinion. A sweet, tropical 4/5 for this one. * Budae Jigae ($35) The budae jigae came out with its own portable stove to keep it nice and hot while we ate. It was delicious, with great flavor. One thing to note - unlike other Korean spots, they don't serve rice with this dish, but then again there is ramen noodles. Regardless of rice or not, we were already gonna be stuffed without it. Solid 4/5 for me. * Half & Half Spicy and Soy Garlic Chicken ($19) Now, this was yummmmmy! I personally preferred the spicy flavor, but the soy garlic was also pretty great. The chicken here is honestly better than some Korean fried chicken places. Easily a 5/5 for this dish! The Coop is a solid 4/5 stars. You really can't go wrong with this spot - delicious food and great for a dinner out!

Had drinks here at the bar with my fiancée. The bartender was really sweet and gave us some recommendations. They have a variety of hard liquor and top shelf at the bar. Overall, casual and chill almost here. We haven't tried the food but this is a good spot for a drink too.

I got the kimchi fried rice, coop wings and seafood pancake. The coop wings were decent but not as crispy or as tasty as some other Korean fried chicken spots and so I probably would not get this again. It tasted good though but wasn't anything special and at $19 for 12, you can definitely find cheaper too. The pancake was fine but I don't get this very often so it is harder for me to compare. The kimchi fried rice was my favorite. My complaint is how little you get and the lack of meat aside from little ham pieces and one egg. Although I liked everything, it did not wow me to make me give it a 5 stars.

I had "The Coop" down as somewhere I wanted to check out & when I knew I was going to the movies in Flushing, this popped in my head & it was right around the corner. Upon getting to the restaurant, you can't walk in from the address listed entrance, you have to go around the corner & (it looks like a shopping center) take the stairs or elevator a flight up & the restaurant is there. They definitely can use better instructions besides "use other door" on their main entrance door because there is a restaurant right next door & it looks like it could be the same place from the inside, but I asked when my friend & I made a mistake & walked in. When we arrived, there were a few people seated & we were seated immediately. For our appetizers we tried their wings which were good, crispy & flavorful (I don't recall the flavor). We also tried their fried spam dog, which my friend described it as a nugget that's been fried with spam lol & that's pretty accurate. The fried spam dog was good & I like the aesthetics by putting the spam back in the can for the presentation. For drinks we had their mango pitcher which was light & refreshing. For entrees I tried their pane seafood cream udon which comes with mussels, shrimp, squid & 2 pieces of garlic bread. I enjoyed it, it was creamy, cheesy, a good portion & well balanced. My friend had their Japchae which was Korean sweet potato noodles, beef rib eye & assorted veggies. He enjoyed his dish as well. The service was good, the waiter was attentive & our food came out in good timing. I like the atmosphere which is a calm, intimate (but not necessarily romantic intimate, friends can enjoy it as well) type of atmosphere. I would return & explore other dishes on the menu.
